Per July 1st  2009 EMCI has launched the certification of the offices, companies and organizations.

The certification scheme for the yachtbrokerage companies is now full operational; it is to be expected that before the end of 2009 approx. 50 companies will sign up for the certification as EMCI registered yachtbrokerage company®. Per September 1st 2009 the certification for the yacht survey companies will be introduced; yacht survey companies can register as EMCI registered yacht survey company®. Per approx. end 2009 / begin 2010 EMCI itself will be registered as official Dutch CE notified body and will launch the registration opportunities EMCI registered CE surveyor® and EMCI registered CE survey company®.  

This project is logical next step after the  launched personal certification and the implementation of the Lloyds Register ISO 9001 : 2000 certification / RVA - UKAS accreditation. This step will facilitate easier access to courtroom procedures and improve the cooperation with the world of ‘banking and insurance’.
